The Lake recedes and summer begins

A beach on steroids
 

All this beach and the hammock trees still have their feet in the water!
 

But we've adapted quite well
 

And Sophie is delighted she has a beach to run on once again. (Woof, will you please let me off this leash.)

    Wow! What a gorgeous beach! All that flooding cleared away so much yucky wood. Someone's beach must have gotten a lot of gross debris! I can't wait to come.

    When I look at these pictures I just want to transport myself there right this second. It seems wrong to sit in front of a computer during the summer...
