Illusions

So many illusions:

• There is no snow inside the storm door
• There is no snow inside the house
• The flowers are not hanging from the highest branch of the tree
• But there is a dog inside the house looking longingly out the window.

In reality:

• The evergreens are across the road
• The flowers are hanging on the door and the branch belongs to the tree in the front yard, the front yard that the dog wishes she was in.
• And the snow, the snow is everywhere except between the storm and house doors.
